SponCon - Spontaneous Construction!

SponCon challenges community teams to push the boundaries of creativity! Using free upcycled materials from the ReStore, teams have seven hours to design and build the most innovative, functional, and visually stunning creations imaginable. This event is a joint fundraiser for the Helena Area Habitat for Humanity and the Rotary Club of Helena.

Sponsorship

By becoming a sponsor of SponCon, your business will support creative upcycling while also providing important funding for Helena Habitat’s housing program and the Rotary Club of Helena’s programs.

Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to bringing people together to build homes, community, and hope. In 2024 Helena Habitat completed 10 homes, had another 18 under construction; restarted its home repair program and repaired 5 homes; engaged 346 volunteers who worked 11,655 hours; and operated the ReStore, diverting 314 tons of material from the landfill and generating funds to build homes in the Helena Valley.

Past and ongoing Rotary Club of Helena projects include scholarships, funding clothing needs for area students through My Student in Need, funding local classroom projects submitted by teachers to Donors Choose, the ADA-compliant trail on Mount Helena, the music garden at Exploration Works, the Sixth Ward Mural, and our latest project, bike repair stations at two trailheads (coming summer 2025).

Building homes is seriously fun, especially for these cousins.
